Course Overview

Have you ever dropped something in the water? Are you looking for lost treasure? The PADI Search & Recovery Diver Speciality course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface. You'll learn Search & Recovery dive planning, organisation, procedures, techniques and explore potential problems. You'll also cover techniques for working in limited visibility, search patterns and safe object recovery using lift devices.

Prerequisites

• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum age: 12 years old

Course Structure

The Search & Recovery training consists of 4 open water training dives over 2 days.

Equipment

Complete scuba equipment including compass. Lift bags and fastening materials will be provided.
