Course Overview
More people are diving with Enriched Air / Nitrox. This means that demand for Enriched Air / Nitrox fills is increasing and more people who are qualified to administer these fills are needed. The PADI Gas Blender course trains you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified divers. It may result in one of two certifications: PADI Gas Blender or PADI Trimix Blender.
During the course, you will learn:
- The physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary
- The five methods of obtaining the desired Enriched Air / Nitrox mix
- The methods used to obtain proper helium mixes
