Course Overview

In this course you will learn:

• The basics of underwater photography
• How to choose the right camera
• The basics of underwater lighting
• How to take good pictures
  • composition
  • distance
  • lighting
  • shutter speed and f-stops
  • film, lenses, and more
• Marine environment awareness
• Care and maintenance
• How to critique your pictures

This course covers the Sea & Sea MM-ll, Sea Life, and Seamaster Pro Cameras.

Prerequisites

• PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Minimum age: 10 years old

Course Structure

The course consists of:

• 1 night of lecture
• 2 ocean dives
• 1 evening to critique your pictures

You can opt to take the lecture portion only and not complete their Ocean training dives for certification, or, during the winter months, you can take a referral and complete your training on vacation.
